So your website is made and ready to go and you’re about to launch it. Before you do, take some time to go through this essential checklist to make sure that everything is functional and nothing has been overlooked.
It’s best for you to come across these errors before your customer does.
SEO – make sure you have optimised SEO including page titles, meta descriptions and 301 redirects if applicable.
Ensure any essential elements are above the fold.
Functionality Testing – this include cross-browser and cross-device functionality. You need to make sure that your website looks the same on – for example - Safari and Google Chrome, on both desktop and mobile.
Test all internal and external links.
Read through your entire website’s content – this includes spelling, grammar, formatting, contact details, proper licensing and removing any generic content.
Test all forms and shopping carts.
Ensure you have a favicon.
