Wix provides state of the art features and tools that are needed to create and manage a unique online presence. While most of these features are plainly visible there are a few that are harder to find.
Below are five of these hidden features that can help your WIX website stand out from the crowd.
1. Vertical Menus
This feature gives you more flexibility with designing your site’s layout, expanding the possibilities of content distribution across your entire site. Vertical menus work especially well with websites that have a large visual focus at the center of the page, like a broad image gallery or video player.

2. Site History
How many times did you wish you could return to an earlier version of your website and bring back to life a page that you deleted, or a design that you decided against? The Site History feature is the perfect tool for the job! It saves earlier editions you saved of your site and keeps them accessible to you at all times.

3. HEX Value Finder
HEX values are 6-digit codes that form the “DNA” of a certain colour in a design palette. Each colour is defined by the amount of red, green and blue that is present in it. The HEX value is a combination of these three values. In web design, knowing the HEX value is especially helpful when you want to duplicate a certain colour from one place to another. In that case, you can use the HEX Value Finder in the editor, take a sample of the colour you wish to duplicate and you get the exact value right there and then.

4. Smart Actions
Smart Actions is a handy tool, which allows you to send automatic email messages (through Wix ShoutOut) to your site visitors when they perform a certain action.
For example, you can set up a Smart Action which automatically sends your visitor a Thank You email after they submit a contact form, subscribe to your newsletter or purchase from your store.
